I am delighted with Marneta’s progress. Bishofit is a name for magnesium chloride salt which was formed millions of years ago as a result of evaporation of ancient seas. It lies deep underground – and is obtained by dissolving the crystals in water and pumping up the saturated solution. In this respect Bishofit has the same origin as Zechstein magnesium.
